On Thursday, 25 June 2026, the Australia Arab Chamber of Commerce and Industry (AACCI), in partnership with Global Victoria, hosted a roundtable meeting with Steve Dimopoulos MP, Victorian Minister for Economic Growth and Jobs, and Minister for Sport and Major Events.
The meeting provided an opportunity for the Minister to engage directly with AACCI members and gain valuable insights into the current business landscape across the Middle East. Members welcomed the opportunity to discuss their diverse trade and investment activities throughout the region, while also highlighting the key opportunities and challenges facing Australian businesses operating in Middle Eastern markets.
Looking ahead, AACCI is committed to strengthening its collaboration with Global Victoria through major upcoming initiatives, including Fine Food Australia and SportNXT, as part of the Melbourne Global Exchange program. These events will further support trade, foster strategic partnerships, and create new opportunities for business growth between Australia and the Middle East.
