Roland Jabbour OAM Attends Annual Consular Corps Lord Mayor’s Dinner

Roland Jabbour OAM attended the Annual Consular Corps Lord Mayor’s Dinner in Melbourne, hosted by the Lord Mayor of Melbourne, Nicholas Reece.

The annual gathering brings together members of Melbourne’s diplomatic and consular community alongside representatives from the City of Melbourne, the Victorian Government, the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Global Victoria and Invest Victoria.

The evening provided an important opportunity to strengthen relationships between Melbourne’s consular community, government and international partners, while recognising the role of the Consular Corps in supporting Victoria’s global engagement, trade, investment and multicultural connections.

Mr Jabbour has a longstanding involvement in international relations, trade and community engagement, including through his role as Honorary Consul of the Kingdom of Morocco in Victoria and his extensive work fostering stronger relationships between Australia and the Arab world.

The event also highlighted Melbourne’s position as an internationally connected city and the importance of continued collaboration between government, business and the diplomatic community.
