Roland Jabbour OAM Attends Women in Business Leadership Masterclass in Melbourne

Melbourne, 20 August 2026 – Roland Jabbour OAM attended the Women in Business Leadership Masterclass in his capacity as National Director of the Australian Arab Chamber of Commerce & Industry (AACCI)., hosted by the Australia New Zealand Lebanon Chamber of Commerce & Industry (ANLCCI) at Strato Melbourne.

The event brought together women from across Melbourne’s business and professional community for an evening focused on leadership, confidence, entrepreneurship and professional development.

Mr Jabbour joined ANLCCI President Ali Khodr, members of the Chamber, government representatives, business leaders and invited guests in supporting an initiative designed to encourage women to strengthen their leadership capabilities, expand their professional networks and pursue greater opportunities in business.

The evening was also attended by The Hon. Kathleen Matthews-Ward MP, representing the Victorian Government, who delivered remarks acknowledging the importance of supporting women in business and creating opportunities for greater participation and leadership.

A key feature of the evening was the leadership masterclass delivered by Sarah Carthew, who shared practical insights on leadership, confidence and professional growth. The interactive session encouraged participants to reflect on their own leadership journeys while developing skills that can be applied across business, entrepreneurship and the workplace.

The event was supported by Business Victoria and reflected ANLCCI’s continuing commitment to providing practical programs that strengthen the capabilities of Victoria’s diverse business community.

For Mr Jabbour, initiatives such as the Women in Business Leadership Masterclass represent an important part of building stronger and more inclusive communities.

Throughout his career in business, community leadership and diplomacy, Mr Jabbour has consistently supported initiatives that encourage entrepreneurship, professional development and stronger connections between people from diverse cultural and professional backgrounds.

He welcomed the opportunity to engage with participants and fellow community and business leaders throughout the evening and to support ANLCCI’s work in creating platforms for women to connect, learn and develop.
